The Art of Reiteration : How Not to Miss the Point
I see this on Twitter and Blog sites, where people complain about authors writing the same thing again and again. It made me wonder why authors would do this. When I looked into this further I discovered that it’s the readers who are really missing the point in more ways than one!
Remember when you didn’t understand your teacher but had it explained better by a friend? It clicked when someone on your wave length presented the information in a different way.
When you have a point to share your ultimate goal is to be understood.
In fact mthat should be a bare minimum writing goal.
Authors want to inspire, make readers feel and have them understand what is important to them. The message they want conveyed is key to their purpose. No one wants a reader to walk away because they
“…just don’t get it”
So how do you write a post that reaches everyone and communicates your thoughts so they’re most understood? Well one approach is to write that post several times explaining in a variety of ways.
