I loved this and it is true. Often it's not the fear in what you write but a fear in the responses it will generate.
Personally I love being challenged so long as it's respectful and has more substance than a mere sentence saying "You're wrong".
Your work will always be appreciated by any groups and I'm sure this community welcomes your thoughts.
My own opinion: I don't go in for specific groups but often find I am defending those more targeted.
