I believe it's 445 active Bills if you are referring to the USA.
They mostly come down to two areas:
- Medical Intervention
- Access to other groups
Ladies' bathrooms are protected spaces for the female sex. It should remain that way. No other group's rights trump theirs.
The same would apply to athletics too. The male sex cannot / should not compete in female sports because of their innate physical advantages.
Medical treatments and other bills that focus on children are for the protection of children.
In short, it's about protecting these groups.
I am not trans and I cannot enter a female bathroom or enter a female swimming team. Trans or not the reason is simply to protect these groups. And I support this.
What I also support is having the right for trans people to live their life safely and free from prejudice. So long as that right is not to infringe on the protection of other groups.
It comes down to protecting a more vulnerable group.
I have no problem sharing a bathroom with gay men or women. But then I am the stronger / equally strong person in that room. Strong both physically and mentally.
So long as your intention is for your own protection and not the infringement of other's groups then I would fully support you.
And I wish you well.
