Hi Gary, I do agree with much of what you say. I'm not a fan of either nor am I a fan of politics. It helps me remain objective.

Firstly why bother having courts? Well not every criminal is a threat to a President serving another term.

12 humans were on the jury yes. How many of them gave a guilty vote? You assume 12 but you are aware of the unique 4-4-4 split permitted by the judge for a guilty verdict right?

But even this is besides the point I am making.

I agree with you that I don't want candidates to pay off anyone in order to hide true nature from voters. But in this case the Democrats have revealed their true nature. And it is this:

Provide a candidate to threaten a Democrat victory and they will destroy them with a weaponised justice system.

The verdict is neither here nor there. The reality is that this court has only happened because Trump is running for President, (as a significant threat to Biden).

This is not a democratic approach to a victory. Nor are states like Colorado and Maine removing Trump from the Ballot papers ahead of this case.

In short, Democrats are simply proving what they are willing to weaponise to ensure victory in the next election. Even if it means a kangaroo court to get the job done.

They don't want the voter to choose.

How undemocratic.

Trump isn't perfect either and is guilty of many things. Ironically the kangaroo styled court may have opened him up to acquittal on all charges. Who knows.

AND to your last point. I completely agree.

Let's find another two instead.

I'll even vote for you if you run! :)

Thanks for reading Gary. All my best.
