Fighting Prejudice with.. Prejudice?
Do so called “Prejudice Warriors” want it to end?
Lately I’ve been reading a lot on Medium about people’s views on prejudicial issues. In the most part they all have good intentions and are coming from the right place. Though not all.
One thing they all have in common is in their solutions. Their solutions involve promoting the need for more prejudice and hate.
It’s not just on Medium. The hypocrisy in what can be good spirited people is seen across the media and on social media. They don’t seem to get how their attacks on prejudicial issues advocate for prejudicial actions. The irony is lost in them. And it’s a dangerous path.
I like to think that people want respect and to be allowed equal opportunity to succeed based on their own individual merits regardless of sex, race, class, disability, where they’re from ,or any other prejudicial label.
This should be the very least and most basic level of respect provided across the Globe.
Sadly it isn’t always the case. In many cases prejudice comes from those who claim they want the end of prejudice.
Below is are just a few issues of today where groups advocating against prejudice are doing so by advocating further hate and prejudice.
