Few teachers at my children's school could ever be described as this. Sadly far from it.

Kids come back frustrated at being tested on subjects that were not taught at all or taught poorly.

That being said, I do agree with your points. If anything I feel that much of what is taught could be achieved in fewer hours. The amount of admin and red tape for teachers is already horrendous and could be reduced or made easier through investment and tech.
