Is Motivation and Time Management the Answer?

“I’m too busy for that.” “Who has the time?!”

Are we too busy being busy or does your time management suck?
Let’s be honest, if there is something you truly wish to do you’ll make the time for it. Right?

Maybe it’s just me but I find Men are more likely to say they “just can’t be bothered” while Women are always “Busy… lots to do!”.

What we both fail at is managing our time and motivation to get it done.

I only appreciated this when I was with friends and the conversation moved to the projects I had set myself. It wasn’t the project that impressed them as much as it was the time it demanded. They couldn’t get over how I had the time to achieve so much!

At the time my wife and I both had jobs, two young kids, one dog and were both studying for other qualifications. The kids had activities after school every night and even at weekends. We had no family nearby to help out.

In between we managed to get to the gym, get out with friends and find time to enjoy life. Our life has had its challenges, ups and downs - Health issues, family problems and other bumps in the road yet we carry on.
