A very on point article. Fear, hate and division have certainly been part of the Political play book these last few years.

However, for the British nation itself I don't believe the views are so informed or calculated.

What they 'see' is incitement to violence and violence on the streets. Pro-Palestinian protests with interviews demonstrating no admission of wrong doing for October 7th. No denouncing of terrorism.

For example, the "sitting down to talk" has been aired with tv interviews and these have not revealed a tolerance.

Of course there are two sides to a story but when the public see little indication of morality from one side it will paint for them a one sided picture.

This is a deeply involved and long standing conflict that cannot be over-simplified. But for the British public their decisions are based on simplicities.

Mainly this: The do not want a repeat of terrorism they've seen carried out by Islamist Extremists. And they see this starting with the Pro-Palestine Protests.

While Politicians remained focussed on Political Correctness instead of addressing the elevating levels of violence, the people will feel forced to take action upon themselves.

We all have weak leaders. We all deserve better.

Thanks for sharing and a good read!
