A great article thanks Isaac. I think this point sums it up well, for me at least.

You can't have a media organisation that declare independence in their journalism while at the same time endorsing either candidate. It implies a bias.

Bias is fine so long as it's transparent. For example if there were papers called the "Republican Times" or the "Democrat Gazette".

But when such contradictions occur they lose all integrity and trust. And more importantly, readership.
