With many reports they compare annual or monthly salaries between men and women. This is a flawed approach.

The hourly rate is more accurate. And for men and women the hourly rate is the same. But who works more hours over the year?

There is less data based on the hourly rates and I'm never sure why. It's a more accurate form of understanding any differences and why.
